Disconnect the clutch cable at lower endParking brake adjustment may be required if the parking brake does not hold the rear wheels properlyPress the parking brake button and pull in thftclutchparking brake lever' Measure the distance the clutchparking brake lever is moved at the tip of the clutchparking brake leverDISTANCE
'86: 31-39 mm (1-14-1-12 in) After '86: 25-30 mm (1 -1-14 in)
Adjust as fol lows: Loosen the lock nut on the rear caliperScrew in the adjusting bolt until you feel resistance without applying the clutchpa rking brake lever, and then turn the adjusting bolt 18 counterclockwise Tighten the loc nutTORQUE: 15-20 Nm (1.5-2.0 kg-m, 11-14 ft-Ib)
