LIGHTS SWITCHES
IGNITION SWITCH
INSPECTION
Disconnect the Ignition switch wlr connectors
(1) WIRE CONNE CTO RS
Check the switch for cont inuity between the Black White and Green wires with the switchOFF "and the Red and Black with the switchON" COLOR OFF ON
The switch IS normal there is continuity between Ihe Ci rcu it marked "00"
REMOVAL
Remove the handlebar upper holder cove rDisco nnect th ignition switch ir con necto rs Push the lugs on the ignition SWitch In and remove the SWit from the upp cove r
HANDLEBAR SWITCH
NOTE The handlebar SWi tch (light ing, dimmelengine stopand saner switchesmust be replaced as an assembly Disconnect the handlebar SWitch wire connectors Check for contlnLlity between the terminals Continuity should exist between th color coded wire term nals in each chart
