REMOVAL
Loosen the tie-rod lock nuts
Remove th cotte pins and castle nuts from both ends of the ie-rod Remove the tie-rod from the steerin shaft and the knuckle Remove the fie-rod ball joi nts from the ie- rod
INSPECTIONASSEMBLY
Check the ti e- rod and ba ll join! rubber for damageReplace if necessaryInstall the tie -rod into th ball joints ith th flats on the ie-r od toward the unmarked ball joint
