FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Inflate the tire and test the seal by dabbing small amount of ce ment around the plugEscaping air wil cause bubble in the cemem If there is leakageremove Ihe tire (pag 11 -8) and apply cold patch to the inside of the tire as describedIf plug has been inse rtedtrim it even with the inne tire su rface Temporarily place rubber patch that is at least twice the size of the punct ure over the injury Make mark around the patChsligh tly larger than the patch it se lfRemove the patch Roughen the area marked II1side the we with tire buffer or wire brush Clean the rubber dust from the buffe area
Apply cement ove the area ma rked and al low it to dry Remove the lining from the patch and center it over the inj ury Press the patch agall1st the injury using special rollerNOTE Allow cement to dry until tacky before applYing patch Do not lo uch th cement with dirty or greasy ands
