FUEL TANK
REMOVA INST ALLA TION
Remove the fuel ank center cove and the air scoop grille (page 14-1 Turn the fuel va lve off and remove the fu el alve knob by removing the screw isconnect the fuel line from the carbu retor Rem the fue tank ounting bo lts and the two front fender attaching bolts Pull the fuel tank back and remove it from the frame

Keep gasoline awa.1' from flame or Wipe up spilled ga ollle at onceUse dram pan and check that fuel flow freely ou of the fuel valve by tu rn ing the fue va lve ONIf flow is restrictedclean the fuel stramer and fuel fIlter screenCheck the vent hole
