BRAKE SYSTEM
FRONT BRAK E
Measure the free play (distance the brake lever moves before the brake stans to take hold) at the tip of the front brake lever
FREE PLAY2530 mm (11-1 4 in) If the brake lever free play is excessive and the brake linings are not worn beyond the recommended limnadjust the brake shoe lining-to -drum clearance
Remove the adjuster hole cap Turn the two brake shoe adjusters up with screwdriver until the shoes lockthen back off three stops Re check the brake lever free play If free lay is still excessive ef adjusting the brake linmg clearance, there IS probably air the brake system and it must be bled out
