LIGHTSSWITCHES
NEUTRAL SWITCHREVERSE SWITCH
REMOVAL
Remove the switch cover by removing two screwsDisconnect the wire connectors from the switches
INSPECTION
The neutral switch is functional if continuity exists only with the transmission in neutralThe reverse switch is functional if continuity exists only with the transmission in reverseConnect the switch connectors (see below)Disconnect the indicator connector, and check for continuity between LgR terminal and ground, or between Gr terminal and ground, in neutral or reverse positionsThere should be continuity
If the neutral or reverse indicators do not come on, check the indicator bulbs faultyIf they are in good condition, replace the indicator wire with new oneNOTE Do not try to remove the rectifier from the indicator wire; they are an assembly
