Light does not come on when light switch is turned on (Engine is running) Bulb burned out Faulty switch Wiring to that component has open circuit Headlight beams do not shift when hi-Io switch is operated Faulty dimmer switch Bulb burned out Wiring to that component has open circuit
OIL COOLING SYSTEM
NOTE When the ignition switch is turned on, the oil temperature warning indicator should come on for few seconds then go off After '87: To prevent damage, the fan motor control unit will cut power to the motor if the motor siezes
Cooling fan does not work 1Perform the fan motor control unit voltage inspection (page 20-7)ABNORMAL Sub fuses faultyOpen or short circuit in wire harnessLoose or poor contact in connectors
2Check the oil temperature sensor resistance at the control unit connector between Bu and wiresResistance should be about 10 krl with the engine cold (25CI77F)
