SA TTERY ICHARGING SYSTEM
CHARGING SYSTEM
REGULATED VOLTAGE INSPECTION
Be sure the battery is in good cond ition before performing this test
Warm up the engine to normal operating temperatureStop the engine, and connect the voltmeter as shown Connect tachometerAllow the eng ine to idle, and increase the engine speed graduallyThe voltage should be controlled to 13.5-15.5 at 5,000 rpm CAUTION
Be careful not to contact (he balfery positive cable while testing

It is not necessary to remove the stator coil to make this test
