IGNITION SYSTEM Measure the secondary coil resistance with the spark plug cap in place by checking for continuity between the plug cap and green terminal(1) IGNITION COIL
STANDARD: 7.5-10.8 kO (at 20 e68F)
Remove the spark plug cap from the wires and measure the secondary coil resistance
STANDARD: 3.7-4.5 kfl (at 20 e68F)
INSTALLATION
Connect the BIY wire connector to the black terminal of the ignition coil and the wire connector to the green terminalInstall the spark plug cap to the plug
PULSE GENERATOR
NOTE It is not necessary to remove the pulse generator to make this test
