FRONT DIFFERENTIALFINAL DRIVE
PINION GEAR REMOVAL
Remove the oil sealPlace the pinion holder on the pinion jointAlign the holes in the pinio holder with the four studs on the differential gear case and secure to the case with four 10 mm nutsSecure the holder in vise Remove the pinion joint nut, then remove the pinion holder and pinion joint
TOOL: Pinion holder
07924HAOOOOO (Modified)
Must be modified pinion holder (4 holel with 10.5 mm diameter holes
Unstake the pinion bearing lock nut with drill or grinder
Remove the pinion bearing lock nut with the lock nut wrench
TOOLS: Lock nut wrench, 34 44 mm Lock nut wrench, 34 44 mm Attachment
07916-ME50001 or 07916-ME50000 and 07916HA0010A (U .S.Aonly)
Position the pinion holder by putting 14 mm flange nuts between the pinion holder and the differential gear case Install the holder with four mm boltsScrew the shaft puller onto the end of the pinion gear shaftScrew the 27 mm special nut down until it contacts the pinion holder, and hold it with 27 mm wrench
