Remove the differential cap and the clutch pack from the differentialSelect clutch spring seat of the required thickness (page 15-6l Refer to page 15-5 for inspection of the other componentsNOTE Do not interchange components between the two clutch pack assemblies Always install each clutch pack assembly in its original location in the differential
Install the second clutch pack assembly in its original side in the differentialKeep out the first clutch pack
Install both differential capsThen, install the inspection tool attachmentsHold the chamfered attachment in the vise and measure the slip torque of the second clutch packIf it is out of specification, remove it from the differential and select new spring seat (page 15-61Next, inspect the other clutch pack assembly in the .same way
