Place support block under the engine to raise the front wheels off he ground and remove the wheelsRemove the cotter pin from the axle nut, then remove the axle nut and brake drum
Inspect the brake drum or scoring, cracks and concent ricityMeasure the I.Dof the drum SERVICE LIMIT: 161 mm (6 .3 in)
FRONT BRAKE PANEL INSPECTION (After '87)
Check the brake panel for wear where the outer lip of the waterproof seal contacts the panelSERVICE LIMIT0.5 mm (0.02 in)
