FRONT BRAKE
BRAKE FLUID DRAINING
CAUTION
(1) RESERVOIR COVER
Do not allow foreign material to enter the system when filling the reservoir void spilling fluid on pain1ed, plastic or rubber partsPlace rag over these parts whenever the system is servicedWith the fluid reservoir parallel to the ground, remove the reservoir cover and diaphragm
Place support block under the engine to raise the front wheels off the groundRemove the front wheels (page 12-7)Connect bleed hose to the bleed valve Loosen the bleed valve and pump the brake leverStop pumping the lever when no more fluid flows out of the bleed valve
BRAKE FLUID FILLING
Fill the reservoir with DOT-3 or brake fluid from sealed container
