FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Inspect the tie-rod for distortion or damageInspect the ball joint rubbers for tears or other damage by joggling the ball joint ends They should move freely and smoothlyReplace the ball joint rubbers if necessary

ASSEMBLY
Install gold nut and ball joint on one end of the tie-rod (end ith flats) and silver nut and ball joint on the other end (flanged side)
(3) NUT AND BALL JOINT

Ad just the tie -rods (A), (B) and (C) so that each ball joint center-to-center length is as spec ified below
(5) BALL JOINT AND NUT (GOLD)
Assemble the ball joint so that tie-rod-to-ball joint distance mm (0 .82 in)
