CRANKCASECRANKSHAFT ITRANSMISSION Place the output gear case in vise, being careful not to distort it
CAUTION
Use soft jaws
prevent damage to the gear case
Hold the driven gear shaft and remove the drive gear bearing inner race lock nut
TOOLS: Lock nut wrench, 30 64 mm Shaft holder

Remove the outer bearing race lock nut and lock washer Discard the lock nut
