DECOMPRESSION LEVER
INSTALLATION
Position the camshaft so that both cam lobes face down by rotating the crankshaft Apply liquid sealant to the mating surfaces of the cylinder head coverNOTE Do not apply sealant to the camshaft journal surfaces
Install the two dowel pins into the cylinder head and install the cyl inder head cover
Tighten the cylinder head cover bolts in crisscross pattern in or steps, starting ith the center bolt TORQUE: mm small head (SH) bolt:Nm (0.8-1.2 kg-m, 6-9 ft-Ib) mm flange bolt: 10-14 Nm 11.0-1.4 kg-m7-10 ft-Ib) mm flange bolt: 13-17 Nm 11 .3-1.7 kg-m9- ft-Ibl Install the valve adjusting hole covers NOTE Three cylinder head cover bolts have copper washers Note their locations (4) mm FLANGE
