CYLINDER HEADVALVES NOTE Ream the guides to remove any carbon deposits before checking clearancesTOOL: Valve guide reamer, 5.5 mm

Measure and record each valve guide 1.0 SERVICE LIMIT: 5.525 mm 10.2175 in} Subtract each valve stem 0.0 from the corresponding guide 1.0to obtain the stem-to-guide clearanceSERVICE LIMITS: IN: 0.12 mm (0.005 in) EX: 0.14 mm (0.006 in) If the stem-to-guide clearance exceeds the service limits, determine if new gui de with standard dimensions would hring the clearance ithin toleranceIf so, replace any guides as necessary and ream to itIf the stem-to-guide clearance exceeds the srevice limits with new guides also, replace the valvesNOTE Reface the valve seats whenever the valve guides are replaced
