CYLINDER HEADIVALVES
CYLINDER HEAD COVER REMOVALI DISASSEMBLY
REMOVAL
Remove the following parts- front fender (page 16-1)- air cleaner case (page -5)- carburetor (page 4-8)- mm bolt, oil path pipe bolts and oil path pipeDisconnect the decompression cable from the valve lifter lever ('86, '87 only)
Remove the top engine hanger bolts and platesRemove the valve adjusting hole covers and loosen the valve adjusting screw lock nuts and screwsLoosen the cylinder head cover bolts in or steps in crisscross patternstarting with the center bolt, and remove the bolts and cylinder head cover
