REAR BRAKE
Check the cable, brake lever and brake pedal for loose connections, excessive play or other damageReplace or repair if necessary Disconnect the brake cables at the brake lever or pedal ends Thoroughly lubricate the cables and their pivot points with commercially available cable lubricantInstall the cables Measure the rear (parking) brake lever free play at the end of the brake leverREAR BRAKE LEVER FREE PLAY: 15-20 mm (5JB-34 in) Minor adjustments can be made with the upper adjusterSlide the rubber cover off the adjuster, loosen the lock nut and adjustMajor adjustments should be made with the lower adjusting nut at the rear brake arm
