MAINTENANCE Inspect the intake and exhaust valve clearances by inserting fee ler gauge between the adjusting screw and valve stem VALVE CLEARANCES: Intake: 0.08 mm (0.003 in) Exhaust: .08 mm (0.003 in) Adjust by loosening the lock nut and turning the adjusting screw until there is slight drag on the teeler gaugeTOOLS: Valve adjusting wrench, 10 12 mm 077080030200 or equivalent commercially available in .S.AValve adjusting wrench 07708-0030400 or valve adjusting wrench 089201-200-000 Hold the adjusting screw and tighten the lock nut TORQUE: 15-18 Nm (1.5-1 .8 kg-m, 11-13 ft-Ibl Recheck the valve clearanceInstall the valve adjusting hole coversInstall the engine hanger plates and ighten the hanger bolts and nuts to the specified torque values TORQUE VALUES: 10 mm nut: 70BO Nm (7.0-8.0 kg-m51-58 ft-Ib) mm bolt: 34-40 Nm (3.4-4.0 kg-m25-29 ft-Ib) Install the air cleaner case
