MAINTENANCE
FUEL LINE
Check the fuel linesReplace any which show signs of deterioration, damage or leaks
FUEL FILTER
Turn the fuel valve OFFPull the fuel filter from its clampClamp the fuel line between the fuel filter and the fuel pumpDisconnect the fuel lines from the filterReplace the fuel filter with new one as indicated by the maintenance schedule(See page
Gasoline is flammable and is explosive under certain conditionsDo not smoke or allow flames or sparks in your working areaSecure the new filter in the frame clampAher installing, turn the fuel valve ON and check for fuel leaks
THROTILE OPERATION
Check for smooth throttle lever operation with complete opening and automatic closing in all steering positions Make sure there is no deterioration, damage or kinking in the throttle cableReplace any damaged partsDisconnect the throttle cable at the upper endThoroughly lubricate the cable and pivot point with commercially available cable lubricantInstall the throttle cable in the reverse order of removalMeasure the throttle lever free play at the tip of the throttle leverFREE PLAY: 3-8 mm (1f8S16 in)
