LUBRICATION
DIFFERENTIALFINAL DRIVE Oil
Place the vehicle on level surfaceFront differential only: Remove the front guard plate by remov ing the mounting bolts Remove the oil filler capCheck that the oi level is within the indicated range (illustration: lower right)Fill with the recommended oil jf the oil level is below the standard level (The bottom of the threaded section)Install the oil iller capFront differential only: Insta ll the front guard plate
Front differential only: Remove the front guard plate by removing the mounting boltsRemove the oil filler cap and the drain bolt to drain all oil from the gear caseInstall the drain bolt securelyFill with the recommended oil to the standard level (The bottom of the threaded section) OIL CAPACITY: DIFFERENTIAL: 135 cc (4.6 ozl at disassembly 100 -1 10 cc (3.4-3.7 ozl after drainingAfter '86: 225 cc (7.6 ozl at disassembly 200- 21 cc (6.8- 7.1 ozl after draining FINAL DRIVE: 135 cc (4.6 ozl at disassembly100-110 cc (3.4-3.7 ezl after draining RECOMMENDED OIL: Hypoid gear oil SAE #80
