STARTER MOTOR
REMOVALINSTALLATION
CAUTION
With the ignition switch OFF, remove the negative cable at the battery before servicing the starter motorRefer to page 7-8 for removal and installation
CAUTION
Check the balancer oil level after the starter motor installed
INSPECTION
BRUSH Disassemble the starter motor by removing the screws and boltsInspect the brushes and measure the brush length
SERVICE LIMIT: 6.5 mm (0.26 in)
