REAR WHEELSUSPENSIONFINAL DRIVE Inflate the tire and test the seal bv dabbing small amount of cement Bround the plugEscaping air will cause bubble in the cementIf there is leakage, remove the tire (page 13-3J and apply cold patch to the inside of the tire as describedIf plug has been inserted, trim it even with the inner tire surfaceTemporarily place rubber patch that is at least twice the size of the puncture over the injuryMake mark around the patch, slightly larger than the patch itself
Remove the patchRoughen the area marked inside the tire with tire buffer or wire brush Clean the rubber dust from the buffed area
Apply cement over the area marked and allow it to dryRemove the lining from the patch and center it over the injuryPress the patch against the injury using special roller NOTE Allow cement to dry until tacky before applying patchDo not touch the cement with dirty or greasy hands
