FRONT WHEELSUSPENSIONSTEERING Install the tie-rod ball joints in the steering stem with the castle nuts and new cotter pinsThen install the skid plate Turn the front wheels to the straight ahead position and install the fork bridge so its punch mark aligns with the punch mark on the steering stem
Install the washer and steering stem nut
Tighten the sleering stem nut to 80 Nm 18.0 kg -m, 58 fl-Ib) torque firstThen tighten the nut further to align the hole of the shaft with the groov8 of the nutTORQUE: 80-140 Nm 18.014.0 kgm, 58- 101 ft-Ib)
