PILOT SCREW ADJUSTMENT
The pilot screw is factory pre-setAdjustment is not necessary unless the carburetor is overhauled Of cleanedCAUTION
Damage to tl'f pilOf screw seat will occur if the pilot screw is tiglltl'lltc1 against the seal
Turn the pilot screw clockWise until it seats lightly and back it out turns !After '85: 134 turns out IThis is an initial setting prior to the final pilot screw
JdjustmentWarm the engine up to operating temperatureStOP the engine and connect techometerStart the engine and adjust the idle speed with the throttle stop screwIDLE SPEED: 1,700 100 rpm Turn the pilot screw in slowly unti the engine stops, and then bade: it out turnStart the engine and SPECIFICAT IONS
readjust the idle speed With the throttle stop screw, if necessary
