SPARK ARRESTER CLEANING
Remove the spark arrester bolt and sealing washer
SEA LING WASHER
The sySlem becomes VR HOT el't'n after shorr periods of engine operationStart the engine and purge accumulated carbon
f rom the system by momentar ily revving up the
engine several times
To Ql'Oid fire hazards, DO NOT perform this naintenance in the j'iciniry of flammable
mQlerials
Stop the engine and allow the exhaust ipe to cool Make sure that the sealing washer is in good condi tionReinstall the spark arrester bolt with sealing washer and tighten the bolt
TORQUE: 30-40 Nm (3.0- 4.0 kg-m, 22-29 ftlb)
Place support block under the TAX and raise the feaf of front wheels off the ground Check the ire tor cuts, or other cnange
