HYDRAULIC DISC BRAKES Install the parking brake onto the rear brake caliper with new gasketTighten the parking brake attaching boltsTORQUE: 20-25 Nm (2.0-2.5 kg-m, 14-18 ftlb) GASKET
CALIPER PIN Make sure that the retainer clip is installed properly on the cal iper bracketCoat the caliper pin with silicone greaseInstall the caliper on the caliper pin and place the caliper over the brake disc being careful not to damage the pads
RETAINER CLIP
I nstall the cal iper mou nting bolt and tighten itTORQUE: 20-25 Nm (2.0-2.5 kg-m, 14-18 ft-Ib) Install the parking brake cable to the parking brakeConnect the park ing brake cable to the park ing brake arm and install the arm on the shaft, aligning the punch marks on the shaft and armInstall the parking brake adjusting boltConnect the rear brake hose with the oil bolt and two new sealing washersTighten the oil boltTORQUE: 25-35 Nm (2.5-3.5 kg-m, 18-25 ft-Ib) Tighten the brake pad boltsTORQUE: 15-20 Nm (1.5-2.0 kg-m, 10-14 ft-Ibl Tighten the brake pad pin plugsTORQUE: 10-20 N'm (1.0-2.0 kg-m, 7-14 ft-Ib) Fill and bleed the rear brake system (Page 13-4)Adjust the parking brake (Page 2-15)PARKING BRAKE CABLE CALIPER MOUNTING BOLT
