To service the water pump mechanical seal, remove the right crankcase coverAll cooling system service can be done with the engine in the frameDo not remove the radiator cap when the engine is hotThe coolant is under pressure and it could result in scaldingThe engine must be cool before servicing the cooling systemAvoid spilling coolant on painted surfacesAfter servicing the system, check for leaksUse only high qual ity ethylene glycol based anti-freeze conta in ing corrosion protection inhibitors specifically recommended for use in aluminum engines-
