MAINTENANCE
THROTTLE OPERATION
Check for smooth throttle lever operation at full opening and automatic full closing in all steering positionsMake sure there is no deterioration, damage or kinking in the throttle cableReplace any damaged partsRemove the throttle housing coverDisconnect the throttle cable at the upper endThoroughly lubricate the cable and pivot point with commercially available cable lubricant or greaseInstall the throttle cable in the reverse order of removalMake sure the throttle lever free play is 3-8 mm (18-516 in) at the tip of the throttle leverTHROTTLE LEVER FREE PLAY: 3-8 mm (18-516 in)
