TROUBLESHOOTING
10Remove oil level gauge and check oi level CORRECT
OIL LEVEL INCORRECT
1) Oil level too high
(2) Oil level too low (3) Contam inated oil
11 Remove cyl inder head cover and inspect lubrication VALVE TRAIN LUBRICATED PROPERLY
VALVE TRAIN NOT LUBRICATED PROPERLY
(1) Clogged il passage (2) Clogged oil control orifice
12Check if engine overheats NOT OVERHEATED
OVERHEATED
13Accelerate or run at high speed
Excess ive carbon build-up in combus ion chamber (2) Use of improper Qual ity of fuel (3) Clutch sl pping (4) Fuel -a ir mixture too lean
ENGINE KNOCKS
(1) Worn iston and cylinder
(2) Fuelair mixture too lean (3) Use of improper grade of fuel
ENGINE DOES NOT KNOCK
(4) Excessive carbon build-up in combus tion chamber (5) Ignition timing too advanced (Faulty COl unit or advancer)
