CYLINDER HEAD!VALVES
I nstall the pulse generatorTurn the crankshaft counterclockw ise and align the "F" mark with the crankcase cover index markAlign the pu lse rotor and pulse generator index marksAdjust the pulse rotor and generator air gap to 0.40-0.65 mm (0.015-0.025 in)
I nstall the pulse generator coverPour fresh oi into the oil pockets in the cylinder head so that the cam lobes are submergedDo the following after installing the pu Ise -generator coverAdjust valve clearance (Page 3-6) Adjust cam chain tension (Page 37)I nspect ign ition tim ing (Page 3-8)Test cylinder compression (Page 39)
