SPARK PLUG
Disconnect the spark plug cap and remove the spark plug Visually inspect the spark plug electrodes for wearThe center electrode should have square edges and the side electrode should have constant thicknessDiscard the spark plug if there is apparent wear or if the insulator is cracked or ch ipped Measure the gap with wire-type feeler gauge and adjust by carefully bending the side electrode0.6-0.7 mm (0.024- 0.028 in)

CHECKSEALING DAMAGE
SPARK PLUG GAP: 0.6-0.7 mm (0.024-0.028 in) RECOMMENDED REPLACEMENT PLUGDR8ES-L (NGK), X24ESR (NO)
Check the seal ing washer and replace ith new one if damaged With the sealing washer attachedthread the spark plug in by hand to prevent crossthreading ighten the spark plug to the specified torque
