REAR SUSPENSION
Check the damper for the presence of air in the ATF by moving the damper rod in and outIf operation is irregular, remove the hose and bleed air from the damperPressurize the reservoir with nitrogen gasSPECIFIED GAS PRESSURE: 2000 kPa (20 kgcm284 psi)
Maintain the pressure to the specified gas pressureCheck the damper compression force is within specification (page 13-3)COMPRESSION FORCE: 28-30 kg (62-66Ibs) Install the reservoir capSPRING STOPPER SPRING SEAT VALVE
Use only nitrogen to pressurize the shock absorber_ The use of an unstable gas can cause fire or explosionInstall the spring, spring seat and spring stopper onto the damperTurn the adjuster nut to obtain the standard spring lengthSTANDARD SPRING LENGTH: 195 mm (7.7 in) Tighten the lock nut securelyNOTE: lOne turn equals 1.5 mm (0.06 in)To increase spring preload tighten the adjusting nut to shorten the spring length up to mm (0.2 in)SPRING
