Calculate the piston-to-piston pin clearance
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.02 mm (0.001 in)
Calculate the piston pin-to-connecting rod small end clearance
SERVICE LIMIT: 0.10 mm (0.004 in)
PISTON RING INSTALLATION
Clean the piston ring groove thoroughlyI nstall the piston ringsNOTE: Avoid piston and piston ring damage during installationInstall the piston rings with the marking facing upDo not mix the top and second ringsSpace the piston ring end gaps 120 degrees apartDo not align the gaps of oil ring side railsAfter installation, the rings should be free to rotate in the ring grooves
