INSPECTION
Shift the transmission into neutralMeasure the drive chain slack midway between the sprockets on the upper chain runCHAIN SLACK: 25-35 mm (0.98-1.38 in)

DRIVE CHAIN ADJUSTMENT
Loosen the swingarm pivot bolt nutLoosen the'chain adjuster lock nutsTurn both right and left adjuster nuts equally to increase or decrease the chain slack until it is within specificationIf the drive chain is worn and adjustment cannot be performed with the adjusters, replace the drive chain with new oneTighten the swingarm pivot bolt nutTORQUE:
