IGNITION SYSTEM
EXCITER COIL
The exciter coil is in operating cond ition if there is continuty between the black ire with red tube and ground
RESISTANCE100-400
COl UNIT
REMOVAL Disconnect the wire coupler and remove the COl unit
BLACK RED (A .CGENERATOR) BLACK YELLOW (IGNITIONBLACK (IGNITION )
INSPECTION
Replace the COl un it if the read ings are not within the li mits shown in the table NOTE The COl unit is fully transistorized For accurate testing it is necessary to use specified electrical tester Use of an improper tester may give false readings Use SANWA ELECTRIC TESTER (P7308- 0020000) or KOWA DIGITAL MUlTIMETER (KSAHM32003) U.S.A only
