THROTTLE STOP SCREW PILOT SCREW
PILOT SCREW ADJUSTMENT
NOTE The pilot screw is factory pre-setAdjustment is not necessary un less the carburetor is overhauled or new pilot sc rew installed
CAUT ION :
Damage to the pilot screw seal will occur if [he pilot screw is tightefled against [he seatTurn the pilot screw cl ockwise until it seats lig htly and back it out JtThis is an initial setti ng prio to ttie final pilot screw adjustment arm the engine up to operat ing temperature Stop the engine and co nn ect tachometer Start the engine and adjust the id le speed with the th rottle stop screw IDLE SPEED1.400 00 rpm urn the pilot screw clockwise slowly unti the engine stops, and then back it out turn Sta rt the engine and readjust the idle speed ith the throttle stop sc rewif necessary SPECIFICATIONS Below ,OOOft( ,800mMain jet Pilot screw open ing Jet needle NO.95 Fa cto ry preset 3rd groove Abov ,000ft( ,500m) No.90 Factory preset 2nd roov e
