MAINTENANCE Inspect the sprocket teeth for excessive wear or damage Replace if necessary NOTE Never Install new drive chain on worn sprockets or worn chain on new sprocketsBoth chain and sprockets must be in good conditionor the new replacement chain or sprockets will wear rapidly

To remove the drive sprocketcra nkcase cove and subtransmission
remove the left
Install the drive chain in the reverse order of removal noting the chain clip direction (Page 134) CAUTIONCHAIN RETAINER CLIP
