MAINTENANCE
THROTTLE OPERATION
Check for smooth th rottle lever full open in and automatic full closing in all steering positions ake sure there is no deterioration damage or kinki ng in th thro ttle ca ble Replace any da maged parts Disconnect the th rottle cable at th upper end Thoroughly lubricate th ca ble and pivot point ith commerc ia lly available ca ble lubricant to prevent premature wearInstall th throttle ca ble in the reverse order of remova lMake sure the throttle lever free play is -1 mm (3161 inat the tip of the throttle leverAdjust as fol lowsRemove the fuel tank Slide the rubber cap off the adjuster on the carburetor cap Adju st the throttle lever free play by turnin the adjuster on the carburetor Install th adjuster rubber cap secu rely Install the fue tank ADJ USTER
