Visually inspect the damper unit for dents, oil leaks or other damageReplace the damper unit if necessaryPlace the damper rod on scale and measure the force required to compress the damper unit 10mm (0.14 in)SPECIFIED FORCE: 26-36 kg (57-79Ibsl If the force required is less than 26 kg (57 Ibs) gas is leakingExamine the damper rod and replace the damper if the rod is bent or scored
VALVE Remove the cap from the reservoirWith the valve pointing away from you depress the valve core to release nitrogen from the reservoir
