Clean the hex bolt threads and apply locking agent to the threadsNOTE: To tighten the hex bolt, it may be necessary to install the fork springs and tighten the fork cap temporarily Take care not to distort the slider in the viseTORQUE: 15-25 N.m (1.5-2.5 kg-m, 11-18 ft-Ib)
Install the new oil seal into the top of the sliderPlace the old seal on top of the new sealApply ATF to the new oil seal and drive it in with the fork seal driverThe fork seal is seated when the groove in the slider is seen above the top of the new sealInstall the snap ring and dust seal
