Section 11 BRAKES Subsection 01 (FRONT AND REAR BRAKES)
Remove:slide caliper support no18pad spring no19Place rag over pistonPlace caliper body with piston down and apply small squirts of air pressure to the fluid inlet to remove piston
BRAKE PADS
Removal
Raise vehicle and support it securelyRemove appropriate wheelLoosen pad pinsRemove piston seal
WARNING

Do not use high pressure air or bring nozzle too close to inlet
CAUTION: Be careful notto damage piston sliding surfaceClean piston grooves, caliper cylinder and piston with clean brake fluidClean slide pins with brake cleaner and rag
Inspection
If boots no20 are deteriorated or hard, replace with new onesCheck caliper cylinder for scratches, rust or other damagesIf so, replace caliperCheck piston for scratches, rust or other damagesIf so, replace pistonV07KOMA
