OUTPUT SHAFT AND COUPLlIIG MECHANISM
Remove gearboxRefer to GEARBOX further in th is sectionBefore removing the right housing and output shaft no1 measure the backlash on output shaftThis measure will indicate if output shaft adjustment is necessary
Install the backlash measurement tool (PIN 529 036 030) at the end of output shaft
Backlash Procedure
Engage PARK position on the gear shaft to block gearboxRemove:bearing cover with oil seal
529036030

From center of tool boltmeasure 47 mm (1.85 in) and place mark on the tab
