The wires are located behind the gauge on 2-position connectorNOTE: Turn ignition key ON
Using multimeter, mea sure the voltage between REDNIOLET and BLACK wiresThe obtained value should be between 12 and 14.5 Vdc- No voltage: Check wiring conditionVoltage is goodCheck accessories
Outlander 800 Series
Remove center panel and dashboard Refer to BODYTurn ignition key on and set engine runstop switch to RUNUnplug power outlet connector
- No voltage: Check fuse F4, F7, relay R3 (accessories) and wiring cond itionVoltage is good: Check accessories
12-VOLT POWER OUTLET
Removal
Remove console Refer to BODYUnplug the connectors of the power outletUnscrew the retaining nut
