GENERAL

PROCEDURES

WARNING

Always disconnect battery exactly in the specified order, BLACK (-) cable firstIt is recommended to disconnect electrical connections prior to disconnecting fuel linesWhen draining fuel tank or whenever fuel line is disconnected, obstruct line with hose pincher (PIN 295000076) or equivalent deviceFuel is flammable and explosive under certain conditionsEnsure work area is well ventilated Do not smoke or allow open flames or sparks in the vicinityDuring assemblyinstallation, use the torque values and service products as in the exploded viewsClean threads before applying threadlockerRefer to SELF-LOCKING FASTENERS and LOCTITE APPLICATION at the beginning of thi manual for comp lete procedure

FUEL TANK PRESSURIZATION
Fill up fuel tank no1Remove the RH side panelUnplug the impulse line no2 from fuel pump no3Install small hose pincher (PN 295 000 076) on fuel pump outlet hose no4 at carburetor, as shown in the following photo
