Section 04 ENGINE MANAGEMENT (V-810) Subsection 03 (COMPONENT INSPECTION, REPLACEMENT AIID ADJUSTMENT)
- Slacken adjuster lock nutadjuster until it just releases leverTurn adjuster clockwise until it touches lever againFrom there, tighten adjuster 12 turn (to remove strain in cable)Tighten lock nut Release throttle leverReinstall throttle body coverClosed Throttle and Idle Actuator Reset Perform the Closed Throttle and Idle Actuator reset as described in THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR (TPS) in this section
FUEL RAIL
Pressure at fuel rails is supplied and controlled by the fuel pump moduleRefer to FUEL TANK AND FUEL PUMP for pressure test
NOTE: If fuel rail is removed purposely to access fuel injector, it is not necessary to cut hose clampTo cut clamps on fuel line, use pliers (PIN 295 000 070)
