Oil pressure switch functional problem

Low oil level, engine leak, oil pump failure, damaged sensor, damaged or shorted circuit wires
Check oil levelCheck oil pressure switch resistanceWith engine stopped, the resistance should be less than ohmWith engine running, the resistance of oil switch should be infinitely high (OL) Check system circuit 2-A-1 to engine groundCheck battery voltage for 12 to 13 volts with engine stoppedCheck battery voltage for 13.8 to 15.0 volts with engine idlingCheck connections on magneto and regu latorCheck battery voltage for 13.8 to 15.0 volts with engine idling Check connections on batteryReplace regulator if necessary Check for damaged circuit between 1-CI-23, 4-B-29 and 2-DB-1 Check for damaged circuit between 1-CI-24, 4-B-27 and 2-DB-2 Replace cluster if necessaryCheck system circuits 2-B-27 and 2-A-28 with 1-CI-23 and 1-CI-24Refer to the SERVICE MANUAL for more detailsCheck cable adjustment Check idle stop for wearMake sure throttle plate is against throttle stopReset closed TPSTry updating the ECMIf the problem persists, replace the ECMTry updating the ECMIf the problem persists, replace the ECMTry updating the ECMIf the problem persists, replace the ECM
