Removal
Outlander 400 Series
Remove both inner fenders Refer to BODYUnplug radiator fan connectorRemove bolts no13Remove the radiator fan
Outlander 800 Series
Remove radiator shroudRemove bolts no13Remove the radiator fan
Installation
For the installation, reverse the removal procedureR400motrl49A

COOLANT TEMPERATURE SENSOR (CTS)
Outlander 400 Series
To check CTS, do the followingPour coolant in small container- Place the CTS end in the coolant (without touching the container)- Connect the probes of multimeter FLUKE 111 529 035 868) on CTS connectorsPlace thermometer in the container and heat coolantThe CTS should operate when coolant temperature reaches 115C (239F)Replace CTS if necessary
